These are the words of the Nerazzurri president Giuseppe Marotta, who spoke during the pre-match of Inter-Torino on Italia 1:

COPPA ITALIA – “Inter has the obligation to participate to achieve the maximum, then of course you have to manage the squad available. We have a large and high-quality squad, great respect for the coach’s choices.”

CREMONA – “A negative event, unfortunately there are criminal people. We will take legal action to protect the club. It’s a page we want to close quickly, because all Inter fans are not made of this stuff.”

SCUDETTO – “The duel is not only with Milan, but we are a group of teams and all can aspire. We are facing a slightly different football compared to recent years, the fact that Milan is the only one having to plan exclusively for league commitments is an advantage for us. But we are used to managing multiple matches, last year we played 64 and reached a Champions League final and came close to the Scudetto. We have to deal with the psychophysical stress that these competitions entail.”

TRANSFER MARKET – “It was a repair market and we didn’t need to repair anything. It’s a squad that satisfies the club and the coach, so this transfer window had to and could provide players who would increase the quality. We had the problem of Dumfries dealing with a recovery, I won’t comment on the duration, but we are all optimistic. All the players are up to the role they cover.”
