The protagonist for the Nerazzurri was President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who met Rafael Gordillo, Director of Institutional Relations and President of the Foundation of the Andalusian club. Joaquín Sánchez also took part in the meeting, a former player who played for both Betis and Fiorentina, and who is now an advisor and legend of the green-and-white team.
