This evening, the first act of the Coppa Italia semi-final clash between Milan and Inter will take place at San Siro. It will be the fourth derby of the season following the two matches in Serie A and one more in the Supercoppa Italiana final in Riyadh. However, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will have to deal with many absences for this match.
Among the several players currently absent, the most notable is probably captain Lautaro Martinez, who appears close to returning. The Inter number 10 himself chose to greet the fans via his Instagram profile, announcing he won’t participate in the derby with these words: I did my best to be there, but unfortunately the timing is tight.
