With 32 goals scored in the jersey of Argentina, Lautaro has temporarily reached Diego Armando Maradona in fifth place and has set his sights on Crespo with a total of 35 goals. Still distant but nonetheless reachable are Aguero with 41 goals and Batistuta with 55, while it seems unrealistic to even approach the 112 of Messi.
In any case, reading the name of Lautaro alongside these legends of the Argentine National Team is undoubtedly impressive and fills a club like the Inter with pride since Toro has been its captain for two years.
