Today, Inter‘s manager Simone Inzaghi received good news with the full recovery of Federico Dimarco, who has overcome the injury sustained in Napoli at the beginning of March. However, the full-back, who developed through the Nerazzurri youth ranks, is the only player certain to return on the field against Udinese on Sunday.

As reported by Andrea Paventi on Sky Sport, Dimarco trained fully 100% with the group today, but the situation isn’t the same for the other injured players. Matteo Darmian participated only in a part of the training with his teammates and will aim to increase his workload in the coming days, hoping to become available by Sunday.

Meanwhile, Nicola Zalewski and Stefan De Vrij followed a customized program today, hoping to rejoin the team training by Friday, which would mean their physical problems are behind them. Thus, their availability remains uncertain for Sunday’s match against Udinese scheduled at San Siro.

Finally, there’s also an update on Lautaro Martinez, whose condition will be reassessed on Monday. However, it’s unlikely that he’ll play in the Coppa Italia derby against Milan. Indeed, Inzaghi and the medical staff’s priority is to avoid any unnecessary risks during the captain’s recovery process.
