The captain of Inter Lautaro Martinez is among the six candidates for the EA SPORTS FC Player Of The Month for August and September of the Serie A 2026-27 season. Voting will close on Sunday, September 27.
Martinez is in the running for the award thanks to the two braces he scored in the big matches against Napoli and Roma. Competing with him for the MVP award for the first two months of the championship are Davide Frattesi of Lazio, Giorgi Kvernadze of Frosinone, Daniel Maldini of Cagliari, Donyell Malen of Roma, and Adrien Rabiot of Milan.
The selection of the six candidates was made through advanced analysis by Kama Sport, based on tracking data recorded with the Hawk-Eye system. The rating system does not limit itself to statistical data and technical events, but also includes positional data, allowing for the analysis of aspects such as off-the-ball movement, optimal movements, game choices, and contribution to the team’s technical and physical efficiency. For the final calculation, matchdays from the first to the fifth of Serie A Enilive 2026-27 were taken into consideration.
