Inter has returned to work at Appiano after the two days of rest granted by Chivu. The team is preparing for the away match against Cagliari and, for the first time, saw Curtis Jones training with his new teammates.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the English midfielder immediately made a good impression with his physical condition. Having not taken part in the World Cup, he was able to complete the entire pre-season with Liverpool, thus arriving already in shape.

At this point, it would be surprising if he were not called up for the match in Sardinia. The decision regarding a possible starting spot, however considered unlikely, will be up to the coach. The situation is different for Spence, who at the moment is the only Nerazzurri player training separately.

The winger is following a specialized training program to reach the same condition as his teammates. He did not even start pre-season with Tottenham after returning from his post-World Cup vacation. His goal is to be available for the match against Napoli on the third matchday.
