Taking advantage of the league’s break for international matches, the Panchina d’Oro awards ceremony took place at Coverciano. This is an award recognizing the best coach from the previous championship, voted for by coaches from Serie A and beyond, including Simone Inzaghi.
The Nerazzurri coach won the Panchina d’Oro award as the best manager of the 2023/24 season in which Inter returned to winning the Scudetto. Inzaghi received 26 votes, followed by Gasperini with 14, and Italiano closed the podium with 4 votes.
After receiving the award, Inzaghi thanked his staff and his players at Inter: It’s an honour to be voted for by my colleagues and receive such a prestigious recognition at Coverciano. I share this award with my staff and players because during these four years they have always worked to give their best, which is not easy with matches so frequently played. I haven’t forgotten about the club’s directors and owners, as well as my family, who has always been by my side.
