An important step forward regarding the new stadium project involving Inter and Milan. Indeed, the two clubs have announced a proposal for the acquisition of the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas, submitted to the Municipality of Milan.

MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano and AC Milan today submitted the DOCFAP to the Municipality of Milan, containing the proposal for the acquisition of the Giuseppe Meazza stadium and the surrounding areas. The clubs also included a preliminary project feasibility proposal for the construction of a cutting-edge stadium, as part of an urban regeneration project focused on innovation, sustainability, and accessibility.

This proposal, prepared by the best professionals and experts in the field, is the result of the strategic vision of the two clubs’ ownership and establishes the basis for creating a landmark project at an international level that will bring significant benefits to the city of Milan and its residents. Over the coming months, the two clubs will engage with the municipal administration to discuss and deepen the details and distinctive elements of the proposal, with the objective of completing the acquisition process by July 2025.

The final concept and detailed project plans will subsequently be presented at a later stage and are therefore not included in the documentation submitted today.
