The Inter U23 is preparing to face Crotone with a squad depleted by injuries. The away match at the Scida stadium, valid for the fifth round of group C of Serie C, is scheduled for tomorrow at 6:30 pm. Stefano Vecchi will have to deal with numerous absences and will not even be able to lead the team from the bench due to a suspension.

Compared to the match against Casertana, the only player returning will be Leonardo Bovio. The central defender born in 2008 had served his suspension after being sent off in Picerno and will be available again. Among the unavailable players remains captain Giuseppe Prestia, out since the first match played in Catania: he is expected to return after the break.

In recent days, the infirmary has gained two more players. Gabriele Re Cecconi has stopped due to an ankle sprain, while Jamal Iddrissou suffered a muscle strain that will keep him off the field for at least a month. Also unavailable are Igor Amerighi, out for several weeks, and Alessandro Calligaris, who has never been used since the start of the season.

The presence of Charlys is in doubt, as he left the match against Casertana early and could further lengthen the already long list of absentees. After the away match in Crotone, the Nerazzurri will face Foggia at home before the break. The club intends to request the postponement of the matches against Giugliano and Scafatese, taking advantage of the possibility granted by Serie C to teams with players called up by national teams during the international window.
