Not only bad news comes from Simone Inzaghi in view of Inter’s upcoming commitments. As is well known, in fact, the coach had to do without Pavard during the first half of the last Champions League match won against Lipsia. The Frenchman, who felt discomfort in his hamstrings, risks being out for at least two weeks awaiting the outcome of instrumental tests.

At the same time, as reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport, Inzaghi may soon welcome back two valuable pieces. Both Acerbi and Frattesi in the last training session were still limited to differentiated work, but still on the field. The program, barring surprises, should be replicated for today’s session as well.

If everything goes as planned and without hitches, both should return to the group as early as tomorrow, thus returning to the race for a call to Fiorentina-Inter on Sunday. It’s unlikely that at least one of the two could start from the first minute in Florence, also because Inzaghi will be able to count on other top-level choices to avoid unnecessary risks.
