Yesterday, the shareholders’ meeting of Inter also approved the balance sheet of the past season. As it was born a week ago, there were announced significantly improved results that substantially bring the Nerazzurri club closer to the much-awaited balance-sheet break-even. During Beppe Marotta’s video conference to Inter’s shareholders, among other things, the intention to create a second team starting from next season was revealed.

Here is the announcement from the president of Inter: Thanks to Oaktree, the financial health of the club has significantly improved in the last two seasons. Our goal for this season is to continue competing at the highest levels in Italy, in Europe and also on the front of the first Club World Cup. The new ownership has given a new boost to infrastructure investments, especially for the new stadium project. The company is therefore aiming at revenue growth, with a particular focus on the American market. We want to include youngsters in the squad and will evaluate the possibility of building the second team starting from next season.
