Inter, match behind closed doors against Aasen: Chivu observes Diouf

After about ten days of work in Germany, Inter takes the field for a behind-closed-doors test against the local team SV Aasen 1928 in Donaueschingen. This is not an official friendly match—that is scheduled for Sunday against Karlsruhe—but Chivu will have the chance to assess the condition of the group in a first match.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri coach will be able to evaluate the team against the local opponent. It is likely that the players themselves are eager to test themselves in a match, even if it has only relative significance. In addition, Chivu has given the team the afternoon off.

Among the Nerazzurri under observation will certainly be Diouf, who, while waiting for Spence (or whoever may come…), should be used as a right winger. Chivu has admitted he wants to persist in the process that will lead to the player’s change of position.
