Just a few minutes before Inter-Lazio, a match valid for the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, Simone commented on the upcoming commitment of the nerazzurri at the microphones of Mediaset. Here are his words:
“We surely care about it, but we know that we are facing a team of absolute value, they are proving it in Italy and in Europe. We will have to play an important match”.
“We know that a tough tour de force begins. There will be 6 games in 20 days, we will have to change trying to change players. Unfortunately tonight we are missing Thuram, Carlos Augusto and Zalewski who would have helped us with the rotations”.
“Milan in the semifinal? That’s the goal. We are in the quarterfinals, we play at home. We want to run a great race”.
“Extend the marriage? I am very happy at Inter. There is a great synergy between all departments. Then there are the sporting results to achieve. In this season they are all still in play, but obviously the words said by Marotta and Ausilio make me happy”.
