Very bad news for Inter on the eve of the Champions League match against Union Saint-Gilloise. As announced by Cristian Chivu during the press conference held this afternoon in Brussels, in fact, there are new worrying updates regarding the physical condition of Marcus Thuram.
The French striker, sidelined due to a muscle strain suffered last September 30th during the second half of Inter-Slavia Prague, will not recover in time even for next Saturday’s big match at the Maradona against Napoli. Initially, the Nerazzurri medical staff’s goal was to recover Tikus at least for the bench, but apparently things have not evolved in the best way.
This is Chivu’s announcement about Thuram: “Lautaro is fine, he has no more problems, he had them before the match in Rome. He got over that kind of cold, he recovered well and today he trained normally. Marcus needs a few more days, I don’t know what to tell you because we are trying to recover as soon as possible, but apparently he won’t be there against Napoli.”
