Bad news arrived today from Appiano Gentile for Cristian Chivu ahead of Sunday evening’s direct clash between Inter-Napoli. The Romanian coach, in fact, will have to do without another player for the San Siro match, adding to the long list of injured players in the Nerazzurri squad along with Di Gennaro, Palacios, Dumfries, and Frattesi.
While Matteo Darmian and Andy Diouf are close to returning and therefore available for Inter-Napoli, Josep Martinez will be forced to miss out. The Spanish goalkeeper, as reported by Calciomercato.com, has suffered an ankle problem and will not be available on Sunday evening. Due to the prolonged absence of third-choice goalkeeper Di Gennaro, two very young players will be on the bench: Alain Taho and Alessandro Calligaris.
