For several days now, it has been known that Inter has no intention of easily letting go of Davide Frattesi during this winter transfer window. The reasons are primarily two: one technical and one economic.

The Nerazzurri club does not want to weaken itself halfway through the season by losing one of its midfielders, who is often the first choice off the bench for Simone Inzaghi. From an economic perspective, Inter knows cause Frattesi‘s value, hence they are requesting 40-45 million euros for his departure.

This morning, Corriere dello Sport highlighted Roma’s intentions, being the first serious candidate to acquire Inter’s number 16. The Roman newspaper reports that Frattesi‘s balance sheet value is approximately 22 million euros and for this reason, the yellow-red club does not want to meet Marotta’s demands.

Roma will make a push in the last few days of the transfer window, but it is highly unlikely that an offer above 30 million euros will be made. However, under these conditions, the Giallorossi have to also watch out for foreign competition where, as the same source emphasizes, there are movements and Inter might be even happier to sell Frattesi abroad so as not to strengthen their direct competitors.
