During a preview of the upcoming Bordocam soon to be released on Dazn, journalist Davide Bernardi gave a small spoiler regarding the controversial episode of the penalty not awarded to Inter for a foul by Scalvini on Frattesi. In the tense moments after the contact, the two players briefly spoke to each other, before the Inter midfielder then turned to the referee to ask for explanations.
These are the words shown in the footage:
Frattesi: “Scalvo, you got me. I swear on my mother!”.
Scalvini: “I didn’t kick, I was standing still”.
Frattesi (to referee Manganiello, ed.): “Check it, look at it. Not even a check? How can you do that!?”.
Following this and the other two refereeing incidents during the match, Inter then decided to withdraw into an official press silence.
