“Frattesi is valued at 45 million”, too much for Roma: there is another Italian club interested.

Davide Frattesi‘s presence in next season’s Inter squad appears highly unlikely. There have been numerous transfer rumors indicating that the former Sassuolo midfielder is close to saying goodbye to the Nerazzurri. Despite being a player of great quality, regularly called up to the national team by coach Spalletti, he is not finding space in Serie A.

In Inter‘s midfield lineup, competition is intense, and Frattesi has grown frustrated with sitting on the bench, preferring instead regular playing time. According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, the club based in Viale della Liberazione is well aware of the player’s value, and hence has priced him at no less than 45 million euros.

One of the clubs reportedly most interested in acquiring Frattesi in January was Roma, but facing such a high economic demands, the Roman team may withdraw from the deal. On the other hand, according to Tuttosport, Napoli might seriously step into negotiations with Inter, possibly including a player as part of the deal.
