At the microphones of DAZN, Ciro Ferrara analyzed the match at San Siro which ended 3-2 for the Nerazzurri. The former defender identified the squad depth as the decisive factor in the match.
“The difference was made by the substitutions, Inter‘s squad is immense, they have many champions,” declared Ferrara. According to the former player, the Azzurri conceded the decisive goals precisely when they changed their tactical setup. “You conceded goals when you decided to change your tactical setup,” he emphasized.
For Ferrara, what was seen at San Siro was still the best performance from Napoli in their last three outings, both for their attitude on the pitch and for the numerous chances created. “From this defeat, Napoli must come away with more certainties,” he added.
The analysis also focused on individual errors: “There were technical mistakes but also tactical ones.” On the first goal, Politano misjudged the long ball and stopped, while Badiashile was not attentive on the second goal, perhaps due to his recent arrival in the team.
