There is a stormy atmosphere these days at the Napoli sports center in Castel Volturno, where Antonio Conte‘s team is preparing for tomorrow’s big match against Inter. The Azzurri are coming off two consecutive defeats between the league and the Champions League, suffered respectively against Torino and PSV Eindhoven.
The former Nerazzurri coach appeared quite agitated after the European match, but also concerned about certain attitudes he noticed within his squad from players who arrived during the last transfer window. In any case, there will be no way to hear Conte‘s words on the eve of such an important match as the one against Inter, since the coach will not appear at the press conference.
Unlike Cristian Chivu, who this afternoon will answer journalists’ questions starting at 2:00 PM to talk about Napoli-Inter, the Neapolitan club released this official statement to the press in the past few hours: “As usual during Champions League week, there will be no pre-match press conference for the league.”
