Diouf towards France-Italy: I can't wait to face my Nerazzurri teammates

Andy Diouf is preparing for his first match at the Stade de France. The France player, who was a protagonist in his national team debut during the victory against Belgium in Brussels, spoke to the official FFF channels ahead of the upcoming match against Italy, scheduled for Friday in Paris.

“There are several Inter players in Italy, I’ll be happy to see them again,” said the former Lens player, who played as a left-back in last night’s match. “It will be a great match, my first time at the Stade de France and I can’t wait. Italian football is finding a new generation of excellent players.”

Diouf also reflected on the emotions of his debut with Les Bleus: “I am very proud to have made my debut for the national team. Then came a great victory, which is always better.” The player then revealed the thoughts that accompanied him as he entered the pitch: “At that moment I thought about all the sacrifices I made to get here, the clubs where I played, my family.”
