For some time now, Inter and Milan have shown strong interest in Samuele Ricci, a midfielder with outstanding talent from Torino and the Italian National Team. The 2001-born playmaker has been illuminating the pitch this season where he had renewed his contract with the Granata club at the beginning of January.
Ricci is now bound to Toro until 2028, but this relationship is not expected to last much longer. The former Empoli player is liked by many teams, both in Italy and abroad, and that contract renewal seems to be an act of gratitude towards Torino to allow them to earn more from his departure.
A similar situation had already happened in the year when Bremer left the Granata, allowing Cairo to cash in more than 40 million. Inter and Milan will have to start off from bids above 30 million euros to get Ricci in the summer, but foreign bids cannot be ruled out that can outstrip the competition.
According to today’s Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will attempt a move for the national team playmaker if Calhanoglu or Asllani leave. In fact, the Turkish player continues to experience physical problems and has been resting often this season, the Albanian on the other hand has not always performed at the expected level and therefore, one of the two could leave in the summer.
