The Inter summer transfer market had several phases, with an acceleration especially in the first weeks. In early June, in fact, two signings arrived immediately: Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique. While the Croatian seems to have immediately carved out an important role, the situation is different for the Brazilian.

Luis Henrique has played only 4 minutes against Torino, while he did not take the field at all against Udinese. This is a warning raised by Corriere dello Sport, which highlights how the Brazilian “is only sitting on the bench” at the start of this season. It is a peculiar choice, considering that Chivu would have needed a player with his characteristics to break down the Friulian defense.

His profile, therefore, remains a dilemma. The newspaper suggests that his hasty arrival may also have been a consequence of an excessive fear related to the clause in Dumfries’ contract, valid until the end of July.

It remains to be seen, then, how his adventure with the Nerazzurri will evolve: his lack of playing time so far could be due to a physical condition not yet up to par, while for a technical assessment we will have to wait for a more definitive opinion from Chivu himself.
