Curtis Jones is liked by Inter, but above all he is liked by Cristian Chivu. The Nerazzurri coach considers the Liverpool midfielder a perfect fit. This appreciation could push the club to make an extra financial effort to meet the demands of the English club. Corriere dello Sport reports:
“At the Nerazzurri, they believe that Curtis Jones of Liverpool is a suitable profile. He impressed the Nerazzurri coach in the match played at San Siro a few months ago in the Champions League, for his quality and flair, but also for his exuberance and athletic endurance.
Inter thinks that, by finding the right motivation, the English midfielder could have an impact in Italy similar to that of McTominay when he arrived at Napoli after leaving Manchester United. For this reason, they are considering increasing their initial offer of 20 million, hoping to secure a definitive yes from the Reds for around 25 million.”
