Cristian Chivu has chosen to grant two days of rest to the team after the victory achieved in the debut against Monza. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri were given yesterday and today off, with training scheduled to resume tomorrow afternoon.

The decision represents a sort of reward for the group, but it was carefully considered together with the entire technical staff. Two days off are considered useful to avoid further burdening an already very demanding preparation.

From tomorrow afternoon, the focus will shift to the away match against Cagliari, scheduled for Sunday evening. The goal is to confirm the excellent debut of Esposito and his teammates and immediately secure another three points.
