Inter returns to the field today at 4:30 pm to face Karlsruhe in the second friendly of their training camp in Germany. Compared to the test against Aasen, the level rises: the Nerazzurri will face a team from the German second division.
Chivu will have to do without Massolin and Asllani, both sidelined due to a muscle strain. Their presence on next week’s Asian tour, which includes a friendly with City in Hong Kong and then matches against Juve and Milan, is now in doubt.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Romanian coach could once again field Pavard in defense. In midfield, the playmaking duties should again be entrusted to Stankovic, while on the right wing the return of Diouf is expected. In attack, the main reference remains Pio, probably supported by 2007-born Idrissou or 2006-born Topalovic, who was already used in a more advanced position four days ago.
The German training camp will conclude today, before departure for Asia. Between experiments and confirmations, the tests of the new Inter continue.
