The preparation for the next league commitment started yesterday in Appiano Gentile, with some good news and a few absences still to manage. Francesco Acerbi has returned to training with the group, but the Nerazzurri infirmary is not yet completely empty. According to Corriere dello Sport, Chivu will have to do without two players for the match at San Siro.
Darmian and Bonny will in fact not be available for the match against Bologna coached by Italiano. The former, however, is aiming to at least be among the squad for the away game in Parma, while the Frenchman has set his sights on the match against the Neapolitans. This choice will likely lead him, albeit reluctantly, to miss the match as a former player against his last team at the Tardini.
Further indications on the coach’s choices will come in the days ahead. The group will continue to train, with the exception of January 1st when a rest day is scheduled, before entering the heart of preparations for the match against the Emilians. Final decisions on the lineup will be made only after the last training sessions.
