The first return matches of the preliminary round of the Champions League were played yesterday. A noteworthy result for Ararat, who managed to overturn the two-legged tie against Riga and secure progression to the next round. Shamrock Rovers also reversed the outcome of the first leg, winning 5-1 against the Maltese side Floriana after losing the first match 2-0.
Levski Sofia overwhelmed Borac Banja Luka 4-0, while the journey ends for the San Marino team Tre Fiori, who were also defeated in the return match by the Northern Irish side Larne. Other qualifications were secured by Sabah Baku and Zalgiris.
The remaining four matches will be played today, including the clash between Sutjeska Niksic and Kairat Almaty: in the first leg, the Kazakhs won 2-1. Below is the complete list of results.
