A few days ago, after receiving from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan all the documents related to the Double Curve investigation, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Giuseppe Chinè, officially started its investigations. Therefore, the involvement of Inter and Milan, as well as their executives and members, will be evaluated from the point of view of sports justice.
In this regard, as explained by Lawyer Paco D’Onofrio on Locker Room Chronicles, the two clubs – as well as possibly indirectly involved members – should not face any point or day disqualifications.
These are the lawyer’s words based on what has been publicly disclosed so far: The potential sanction would be a fine and a couple of months disqualification for the executives. No points and no days, there’s no hypothesis. Unless there is connivance, but there we are talking about a wicked agreement between the company and a criminal fringe of fans. I would tend to exclude this, otherwise it would have been the focus of the investigation.
