In the past few hours, an official bulletin has been released by the Inter team regarding the condition of Carlos Augusto after the muscular injury he suffered on Wednesday evening in Bern against Young Boys. As feared, the Brazilian winger will be out of action for a few weeks.

In a note released by the black and blue club, the muscular discomfort to the flexors of his left thigh highlighted by this morning’s instrumental exams was confirmed. Fortunately, there is no injury for the former Monza player, but it’s still an issue that will keep him in the infirmary for several matches.

As previously anticipated in recent days and now confirmed by Sky Sport, Carlos Augusto will not return before the mid-November break. The winger, therefore, will miss Inter’s next five official matches in the championship and Champions League against Juventus, Empoli, Venezia, Arsenal, and Napoli. Inzaghi’s hope is to have him back by the end of the month between Verona and Lipsia, but mostly to be able to rely on the returning Tajon Buchanan in the meantime.
