The team held a morning training session, the only one of the day, before enjoying the afternoon off. The training included an in-house match, useful for reactivating physical condition and regaining confidence with the ball.

Carlos Augusto stood out by scoring a beautiful goal, followed by a goal from Pio Esposito. The latter received compliments from Dimarco, who exclaimed: “Well done Diego.” The winger’s appreciation referred to a finish reminiscent of those by the Prince Milito.

The session took place after Mkhitaryan’s press conference, which had been held earlier.
