On Sunday evening at San Siro there will be an all-Croatian clash between Sucic and Baturina, two players that Fabio Cannavaro knows well, having coached them at Dinamo Zagreb. Cannavaro spoke about them in the latest episode of Sky Calcio Unplugged, giving a precise portrait of both.
“Watching Baturina and Sucic is easy, they were already two strong players, with personality,” said Cannavaro. “Dinamo has a great youth sector, I had the misfortune of arriving at a time when the sporting director who brought me there was let go after a month and a half and things fell apart a bit. But it was clear they were two different players; when we played against Milan in the Champions League and won, they played an extraordinary match.”
Cannavaro then revealed he had recommended them to other teams: “I had suggested them to a few other clubs but they were already certainly expensive because they were valuable players.” “Inter and Como have made two great signings,” Cannavaro concluded.
