Brookfield has completed the acquisition of 100% of Oaktree, acquiring the remaining 26% it did not yet own. The Canadian fund, which already held 74% of the US company, finalized the operation with an investment of 3 billion dollars.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the transaction brings the overall valuation of Oaktree to around 10 billion dollars. The acquisition, which began in 2019, now concludes with the transfer of all shares into the hands of the Canadian group.

As for Inter, owned by Oaktree, no changes are expected. The management of the club and the corporate control structure will remain the same, despite the new ownership structure of the American fund.

The news comes as the Nerazzurri club continues its work in the transfer market, focused on strengthening the squad ahead of next season.
