It seemed to be a done deal, but the transfer of Tomas Perez to Inter seems to have suddenly slowed down in the last few days. The negotiation with Newell’s Old Boys, which seemed to be settled just a week ago, now appears to be put on “stand-by”.
This is what the Argentinian website La Capital reported, indicating that the red and black club has asked for something more than initially agreed, with a surprise visit to Italy by the president Ignacio Astore to finalize the agreement.
As of today, however, there seems to be no news, with sources close to Newell’s Old Boys, recounting how the negotiation has not made any progress, although the two clubs would be working to “resolve the existing divergences”.
