Bologna-Inter: Bonny favored over Pio Esposito, changes on the wings

The absence of Lautaro Martinez, dealing with a strain in the flexors of his left thigh suffered after the match against Club Brugge, forces Chivu to redesign the attack for the away game in Bologna. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Romanian coach will rely on Bonny from the first minute, with Pio Esposito starting as a backup.

The Nerazzurri captain will be out for several weeks: the indicated date for a possible return is November 22, the day of Atalanta–Inter, but recovery within the expected timeframe is not guaranteed. In total, Chivu will have to do without him for at least seven matches.

The changes do not only concern the offensive department.
