An incredible story, that of Yann Bisseck, defender for Inter, who just hours ago received his very first call-up to the German national team. This is likely the happiest and most significant moment of his career, which, however, hasn’t lacked difficult periods. The defender himself revealed this in an interview with Sport1, commenting on the official call-up from coach Nagelsmann.
Here are Bisseck‘s words: I was training when the national coach tried to call me. When I saw his name appearing on the screen in the locker room, it was an extraordinary moment. He left a message on my voicemail saying I was selected. This is definitely one of the happiest moments of my career. It makes me incredibly proud! When I think back to the time I spent in Portugal, when I nearly quit football to study medicine, I’m now extremely happy about how things worked out.
