Fiorentina-Inter, 14th round of Serie A 2024/2025, was suspended at the 17′ due to the illness of Edoardo Bove. The president of Inter, Beppe Marotta, spoke to Sky Sport to express his proximity to the player’s family and to the Tuscan club.

BOVE – Firstly, Fiorentina’s management and coach have gone to the hospital. I spoke with Pradè a little while ago and I’m here to show Inter’s and all of football world’s support to the family and to Fiorentina. The decision to postpone the match was spontaneous by everyone. We are a community and when these emotionally negative situations happen, it’s normal this happens. All the players and even the referee were emotionally involved and it was a spontaneous decision, in front of what we hope is not a very serious event. I’ll stop with this and Fiorentina will communicate the situation. I just wanted to express my thoughts on behalf of Inter, players, coach and the football world..
POSTPONEMENT – Other postponed games? We haven’t addressed the issue, today it’s too important to think about the boy’s health and the focus is there. From tomorrow we will evaluate situations related to a possible recovery.
