Today was marked by Ademola Lookman‘s decision to come out into the open and officially break with Atalanta. The Nigerian forward published a post on Instagram in which he announced his desire to leave the club and that he has formally requested a transfer, to the delight of Inter fans.

Certainly, the addition of Lookman would be great news for Inter, but there are also those who remind us that balance is needed on the pitch. Among them is former Nerazzurri captain Beppe Bergomi, who in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport indicated who he thinks would be the right reinforcement for Inter after the Nigerian. These are his words:

“Frendrup would be perfect. He runs, recovers, covers. That’s the kind of player needed. In Genoa, in a two-man midfield, he covered the whole pitch for two seasons in a row. This profile would be excellent. Tactically, it’s something to consider.”
