At the Sky microphones, Alessandro Bastoni spoke before the match in Cagliari against Pisacane’s team. The player expressed confidence for the current season, while acknowledging the difficulties in replicating what was achieved in the previous year.
“There is great enthusiasm for what we did last year, but it will be difficult to repeat ourselves,” declared Bastoni. He then highlighted the contribution of the new arrivals: “Never like this year have we brought in people who have given us new energy and a lot of experience, which is why we are confident.”
On the mentality front, the player reiterated the team’s desire to maintain a winning approach. “Every year everything changes if our mentality were to change. We have always been very clear in wanting to win every match and it will always be this way both for us and for the club,” he concluded.
