Simone Inzaghi was questioned this morning by the Milan Mobile Squad as a witness in the investigation into the curves of Inter and Milan. Specifically, the Inter coach was questioned about the interception of conversations with the head of the North Curve ultra, Marco Ferdico. The latter had asked the coach to put pressure on Marotta, to receive more tickets for the 2023 Champions League final in Istanbul.
As reported by ANSA, Inzaghi would have specified to the investigators that he did not receive any type of threat from Inters organized fans. The conversation about the tickets was part of the typical relationship between ultras and the team, which did not want to lose the closeness of its supporters.
In his deposition, Inzaghi would have also admitted to having spoken with other ultras leaders as done by the directors, but reiterated that he was not afraid or threatened, in what was a normal relationship between organized fans and the team.
