Ebenezer Akinsanmiro took only a few minutes to make his mark in his new adventure. The former Nerazzurri midfielder scored a decisive brace in the friendly won by Monza 4-2 against Milan Futuro at Monzello, coming off the bench and overturning the result.

The Brianzoli will face Inter in the first matchday of the league, on August 23 at San Siro. The match started off tough: after a post hit by Cutrone in the 17th minute, it was Menon who put the Rossoneri’s second team ahead. The home side equalized in the 41st minute with Varela, assisted by Colpani, but just before halftime Pandolfi put the visitors back in front.

In the second half, Juric changed many players. Monza struggled to find the equalizer and in the 64th minute Pizzignacco had to make a crucial save on Magrassi to prevent a third goal for the opponents. The turning point came in the 82nd minute: Petagna set up Akinsanmiro, who on his debut scored the 2-2.

Five minutes later Forson turned the score around with the 3-2, again assisted by Petagna. In the 88th minute Akinsanmiro sealed the result with his personal 4-2. The next appointment for the Biancorossi will be on August 7 at the Brianteo against Padova.
