“Home”: this is the term chosen by Akanji to define his experience at Inter. After winning two trophies with the Nerazzurri shirt, the defender emphasized how from the very first day he felt welcomed by the team, the supporters, and all the people involved with the club.

“It has something special. From the very first day I felt welcomed by the team, the fans, and everyone around the club. I would almost say I immediately felt… safe. Obviously, playing and winning helps too, but Inter never leaves you alone,” said the Swiss player.
