In this long break dedicated to the commitments of the National team, the transfer market theme has become predominant, especially in view of possible movements in the January window. However, as we have repeated several times, Inter is unlikely to intervene to reinforce a squad that is already complete in every department and will continue with these players until next June.
For the future, however, there are several young talents on the nerazzurro clubs notebook that could rejuvenate the squad and give a hand to Simone Inzaghi. In the new in-depth focus on the transfer market on Passione Inter, we have selected the six best young players in the Italian championship on the radar of Marotta and Ausilio.
We start with a defender, currently sidelined due to a cruciate ligament tear at the end of last season. We are talking about Giorgio Scalvini, a central born in 2003 who, despite his young age, has already gained considerable experience with Atalanta and the Italian National team. A profile that Inter has started following even before the boy broke into the first team.
Moving to the midfield, there are three gems that are drawing the attention of the nerazzurri directors. The first is a comeback, Giovanni Fabbian. The Bologna midfielder is expected to make his mark this year after a good first season in rossoblù jersey. The player is still under the control of Inter, which holds a repurchase option valid until June 2025.
A profile that has been talked about recently, but that Inter has not stopped following in the last two years, is Adrian Bernabé. If Asllani does not fully convince this year as a replacement for Calhanoglu, the 2001-born player could climb positions.
The third midfielder has decidedly more offensive characteristics, which make him almost a midfielder. We are talking about Nico Paz, the product of the Real Madrid youth academy who is growing enormously game after game with the Como shirt. Another Spaniard who is shining in the Italian championship, destined for a bright career. Inter -as well as other clubs- is watching him, aware of the right of pre-emption by the blancos.
Finally, we close with a duo who could very well operate in Simone Inzaghis 3-5-2: Daniel Maldini and Santiago Castro. Both have drawn attention at the beginning of this new championship season from Inter. The former Milan player is more of a second striker who might struggle to find his role in the nerazzurri lineup, but certainly has characteristics that would be useful to the Piacentino coach.
Castro, on the other hand, can be considered as the alter ego of Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine striker, born in 2004, is emerging with a considerable personality despite his very young age. Ferocity under the goalpost, but also the right quality in long shot: the new Zirkzee destined to ignite the transfer market next summer.
