Another victory, the fourth in a row, totally relaunches Inter‘s season after a hesitant start. At San Siro, the Nerazzurri win 3-0 against Slavia Prague, in a match dominated from start to finish, and confirm themselves with full points in the group after 2 matchdays of the Champions League.

In the meantime, here is our in-depth analysis with ‘Five things we learned from Inter-Slavia Prague’ (HERE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF INTER-SLAVIA PRAGUE):

1) Inter’s numbers since the defeat to Juventus speak for themselves: 4 consecutive wins, 2 out of 2 in the Champions League. A perfect run, culminating in last night’s match: 3 goals scored, 3rd match without conceding a goal and a physical condition that seems to be constantly improving. The atmosphere within the team also seems to be on the rise.

2) On the eve of the match, there was talk of a Slavia Prague with a strong offensive mentality, but nothing of the sort was seen at San Siro. Starting from the very defensive 4-5-1 formation, a prelude to an extremely defensive attitude. The famous absence of the “player who beats his man” was not felt, as Inter asserted their clear superiority.

3) Thuram had been Inter’s driving force in terms of goals in these first matches, but it is clear that Lautaro Martinez, as a good captain, does not want to be outdone. After missing the match against Ajax and playing little against Sassuolo, he came back in great form: goal against Cagliari and a brace against Slavia Prague in just a few days.

4) There has been much talk about the difference between the attacking alternatives in recent years and those of this season. Even last night, in fact, Pio Esposito and Bonny came on with the right attitude and energy. There are still doubts, however, in midfield: Diouf remains on the bench, as does Frattesi, who has been used very sparingly so far.

5) The evening at San Siro was special also due to the municipal resolution that arrived just a few hours earlier. The stadium issue, however, remains alive also among the fans: yesterday there were 62,000 spectators present, but the guests made themselves heard the most. An issue to be resolved.
