The project aimed at rejuvenating the first team’s squad will be one of the main objectives for Inter’s management next summer. This is the strategy outlined by Oaktree, which prefers lowering the average age of the squad currently available to Simone Inzaghi by investing significantly in young talents.
Within this context, a new name has emerged on Inter’s transfer shortlist, as reported by colleagues at Calciomercato.it. The target in question is Andrey Santos, a central midfielder born in 2004, who is already showcasing his talent in Europe by playing in the French league with Strasbourg.
The Brazilian talent is owned by Chelsea and already holds an estimated valuation of 35-40 million euros, given his impressive performances in Ligue 1, which include 10 goals and 3 assists in all French competitions. However, Inter is not the only club pursuing Andrey Santos; other major Italian clubs like Napoli, Juventus, Milan, and Roma are also reportedly interested in the young midfielder.
