Inter‘s attention for the upcoming transfer market is not limited only to the national borders. The Nerazzurri club is indeed closely monitoring international profiles as well, particularly from fascinating championships such as the English league. Despite some excessive price tags, there remains a strong willingness from Oaktree to renew Simone Inzaghi‘s lineup with emerging talents.

Among these talents, as revealed by Calciomercato.it, could be Kobbie Mainoo, the young midfielder from Manchester United. Born in 2005, he is already a regular for the Red Devils and has even collected several appearances with the senior English national team. Despite his importance in Amorim’s squad, he could be sold this summer.

According to what was reported by Manchester Evening News, due to issues related to Financial Fair Play regulations, United might be forced to offload exactly Mainoo. Compared to other players, his sale would generate full capital gains, as he developed within the Red Devils‘ youth system.

Inter could soon explore the possibility of signing Mainoo, even though significant obstacles make negotiations challenging for the youngster born in 2005. The primary issue remains his transfer fee, currently estimated at around 50 million euros—figures considered excessive for the Italian league which could instead benefit other clubs interested in the player, such as Chelsea.
