In recent hours, Inter president Beppe Marotta had effectively announced that the contract renewal of coach Simone Inzaghi was very close. The entire Nerazzurri management highly appreciates the coach’s work and values him as a person, choosing therefore to continue the collaboration.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights today, the Viale della Liberazione club has also prepared a substantial bonus for Inzaghi in case of winning the Scudetto for the second consecutive year. With nine matches left in the Serie A season, Inter currently sits in first place, three points ahead of second-placed Napoli, and intends to maintain this position.
According to La Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri club has prepared a bonus of one million euros for the former Lazio coach if he secures the league title. Throughout his four years in charge of Inter, Inzaghi consistently elevated the team’s performance, and consequently, his salary has risen from 4 million euros to the current 6.5 million euros, with a potential additional 1 million euro bonus for winning the 21st title.
