A new week begins today, which will see Inter back in action against Udinese in a match scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 18:00 at San Siro. The Nerazzurri squad is about to put behind them an international break that fortunately has not caused further absences in Simone Inzaghi‘s team, besides the numerous players already injured.

Also for this reason, according to the report published this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri coach already knows he certainly will not have three key players available for the upcoming league fixture. The first is Lautaro Martinez, who returned early from international duty with Argentina due to an issue with his hamstring muscle; this injury will be assessed more thoroughly by medical examinations today.

The same situation applies to Denzel Dumfries, who had to withdraw from the Dutch national team because of a thigh issue suffered during the latest Serie A match against Atalanta. The fullback, like his captain, will undergo further clinical examinations today.

The third key player unavailable to Inzaghi against Udinese is, finally, Alessandro Bastoni. The defender received a red card against Atalanta and must serve a one-match suspension. Upon returning to action against Parma, he will again be one booking away from suspension, thus remaining at risk of further disciplinary action.
