During the upcoming summer, Inter will be looking for new reinforcements for the squad of the future. The strategy chosen by Oaktree for Nerazzurri’s first team involves a general rejuvenation, aimed at lowering the average age of one of the oldest squads both in Serie A and Europe.

Today’s issue of Tuttosport reveals some details regarding Inter‘s shortlist of defensive targets. The club will likely sell Acerbi in order to find a younger replacement, perfectly aligned with the rejuvenation goal set for the upcoming summer. Currently, there are four names emerging from Serie A.

The top preferred candidate at the moment is Hien from Atalanta. However, other strong candidates remain, such as Bijol from Udinese, Beukema from Bologna, and De Winter from Genoa. All these defenders are at the peak of their careers and performing well in the Italian league.
